French Fransat Satellite Receiver Security Update

Fransat French TV Update Receivers Not Working

Between October 2025 and April 2026 French Satellite Broadcaster Fransat will be carrying out Software Updates on All Fransat Satellite Receivers and Conditional Access Modules (CAM).

This is part of Security Update to strengthen content protection and ensure continuous access to Fransat Television Channels.

However this will mean that older versions of Fransat Equipment will no longer be compatible with the new updates and will no longer work requiring new equipment to be purchased to continue viewing French Channels from the Eutelsat Satellite.

If after your Fransat Reciever has Updated and you are only able to see a Blank Screen you will Need to Purchase a New HD Fransat Box or CAM.
