We can provide a wide range of Satellite Dishes from 33cm to 1.8 Metre including Rustproof Aluminium, Fibreglass and Steel Dishes for Sky, Freesat and European TV.

Rustproof Fibreglass and Aluminium Dishes are also Available for coastal areas where corrosion is an issue.

Size Really Does Matter

The size of satellite dish very much depends on the Satellite you wish to receive and your location.

In most parts of the Country a Sky Zone 1 Dish is adequate for Sky HD Sky Q and Freesat although the further North you are and especially in Scotland a larger Zone 2 Sky Dish is more appropriate.

European TV varies as well, in most cases a 60cm Dish is adequate for the Astra 1 satellite for German French and other foreign channels although an 80cm dish is better for the Hotbird Satellite that transmits Italian and other European and Middle Eastern Channels.

Different Types of Dish Materials

Steel

Traditionally most Dishes are made from Steel which includes Sky Zone 1 and Zone 2 Dishes.

Whilst being cost effective and durable steel dishes are susceptible to rusting and corrosion, especially in coastal areas.

In high corrosion areas then many people decide to spend a little more for an aluminium or fibreglass dish instead.

Aluminium

Aluminium is an excellent alternative to a Steel Satellite Dish as they are powder coated and being made of aluminium are rustproof as well.

Despite being a little more expensive than a Steel Dish they are still affordable and will last far longer. The Technisat and WISI Range are manufactured in Germany and Very High Quality.

Fibreglass

A Fibreglass Satellite Dish is another Rustproof Solution as they are made from a rugged plastic and fibreglass combination

The choice of Fibreglass antennas has diminished over the years a Triax are not producing many of they range but Cahors still make 65cm and 75cm Fibreglass Dishes.

Although durable and rustproof Fibreglass Satellite Dishes are the most expensive of the range but will last for many years.
