Easy Auto-Install Using your Technisat box for the first time requires a number of important settings storing specific to your location. Clear on-screen instructions from the Technisat easy installation wizard will guide you through an easy-to-understand set up procedure. You will be up and running in no time.

HDTV stands for High Definition Television, thus for outstanding picture quality. With HDTV pictures can be displayed in much greater detail and with much finer gradations. HDMI This high performance interface is provided especially for fat digital transmission of high-resolution pictures and sophisticated sound without loss. Even complex picture content and fast moving sequences are displayed in first-class quality. Besides their high performance capability, HDMI connections are distinguished by bidirectional data transmission.

PIP function The Picture in Picture (PIP) function enables the TV picture for one channel to be minimised and shown at the edge of the screen while another is watched on the main TV screen.

Perfect Recording Offers detection of broadcast time postponement in DVR mode. EPG permitting.

Editing Function Recorded programmes can be edited later via handy cutting and editing tools (e.g. to remove advertising slots).

Pay-TV Ready The Technistar S6 enables you to receive encrypted content from a subscription based Pay TV provider.

Common Interface CI+ This (common) interface is used in combination with a CI or CI+ module and corresponding SmartCard to enable access to encrypted programming such as Pay TV or Pay Radio. CI+ 1.3 compatible. Two slots available.

DVR ready Easily record your favourite films or music on an external USB storage medium, internal 2.5″ SATA HDD or Network Attached Storage (NAS). Use this option to archive data without loss or to play it back using the Timeshift function.

TechniSat CONNECT is the app that enables the uniform control of a large number of functions from one central app. The app can be customised with different application modules individually to your needs. CONNECT is available for iOS and Android mobile devices.
